Johor Post Trip Project 2014

Join me, Liv Tan from Class 4A1, on an exciting educational trip to Johor! Guided by Mdm Siva, my group of eight girls explored the vibrant Excelsior International School, where we experienced diverse facilities, including swimming pools and a drama room. In Kampong Temenin, we enjoyed traditional dance performances and crafted unique handicrafts, tasting delicious local foods along the way. The adventure continued at the Chocolate Boutique, where I learned about chocolate production, before indulging in thrilling rides at Legoland. This trip offered invaluable experiences and memories!

  6. Day 1

  7. At Excelsior International School • At the International School, I walked around the whole school • The school has 2 swimming pools, a running track, a field, a prayer room, a drama room and many classrooms • The principal’s name is Mr Julian and the Vice-Principal is Mr Ian • The International school has students from all over the world Mr Julian

  9. At the Kampong Temenin • At the Kampong Temenin, we got to watch the Traditional Dance Performance, try Handicraft Making, experience Traditional Food Demonstration cum Tasting and play Traditional Games

  17. At the chocolate factory • At the chocolate factory, they told me what ingredients they used to make chocolate • I got to buy and taste chocolates at the chocolate factory

  18. At Legoland • At Legoland , I went to explore the Tall Towers and the Energy Lab

  19. Adventure Bot Workshop At the workshop, I played Adventure Bot on the computer

  20. Kit Kat Time I took roller coasters in Legoland like Project X and The Dragon Awesome Fun Excited

Reflection • I have learnt the traditional games and how Malays eat their food at the Kampong Temenin • I have learnt about the ingredients used to make chocolate at the Chocolate Boutique like cocoa powder • The facilities and amenities are fabulous at Excelsior International School • Eye-opening experience and adventure at LegoLand • I have enjoyed myself immensely and it was truly a memorable fruitful learning journey
