Anticipated FY14 Sequestration Impacts • Sustainment Controls reduced to 35%-45% of Facility Sustainment Model. • Spending restricted to preventive maintenance, mission critical, and life/health/safety projects. • Large portion of projects will be completed by in-house workforce and Base Operating Services (BOS) contractors • Programs currently unfunded with potential to be completely cancelled • Energy Fast Payback Projects • Consolidation and Demolition Projects • Restoration and Modernization Projects (Large scale facility renovations) • Discretionary Projects • Facility planning cut 20% primarily affecting engineering studies executed by A/E contractors • Grounds and Custodial services will be slightly improved from FY13 • Environmental expected to take a 7% cut 27 August 2013

FY10 to FY11 to FY12 reduced the DART rate from 1.89 to 1.50 to 1.41. A reduction of 25% in 2 years. FY13: Contractor DART rate is 0.52 with 19 DART cases through July 2013. 12 of 18 offices finished FY12 DART-free.
