IRPA involvement in the BSS review and revision process Successful participation of IRPA Associate Societies (AS) in the discussion of new ICRP recommendations Starting the engagement of IRPA in the process of BSS review and revision at an early stage Observer status at BSS cosponsor’s meetings and IAEA safety standards committees (RASSC, WASSC,…) Next steps: • BSS Draft 1.0 will be posted on the website February ’08 • Letter from IRPA president to AS for participating in the process • Collection of AS comments during summer 2008 • Discussion on AS forum at IRPA12 in Buenos Aires 2008 • Discussion on RASSC meeting Nov ‘08 Responsible EC officer 2008: Bobby Corbett
