What is Boom Lift and Scissor Lift? • These are the lifts which are mostly used in the construction and manufacturing industry to elevate the workmen and construction materials or tools at heights. • Scissor lifts are used to elevate the workmen to certain heights or areas. This lifts are supported by crisscross braces that extend upward. • In Australia, most the scissor lifts are used to move up or down. The biggest advantage associated with the scissor lifts that they can carry several people and construction material at once.

  6. Duration and Fees Charges of the Course • The average course duration of Scissor Lift Training is 1 day. Few recognized training organisations are offering the same training in 2 days. • While the average cost of the course is AUD 350. You’ll get this course in between 300 AUD to 450 AUD depending upon the type of the RTO. • On these days, candidates will be trained in order to operate the boom lifts or scissor lifts. Also the assessment will be taken on the same day.
