  1. JOB EVALUATION SUITE Hi! My name is “Judy.” I would like to introduce an amazingly simple, web-based application for training employees and helping to identify high risk tasks. To take a brief tour click on “Next Page” Finished Next Page

  2. TRAINING: Our ergonomics training empowers employees with knowledge and skills to help them identify and solve their own unique problems. REPORTING: The reporting section provides management with reports indicating the level of risk for both the work environment and the individual. This information enables management to effectively set priorities for reducing risk, allocating resources, establishing accountability, and monitoring improvement goals. OSHA COMPLIANCE: The application provides the critical documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with existing and proposed state and federal regulations for ergonomics. JOB EVALUATION SUITE EVALUATE LIFTING, HANDS AND ARMS, OR COMPUTER TASKS This web based product does three things very well! Finished Next Page

  3. 1. Employee Training Having the skills to identify risks means having the ability to reduce risks. Increases Skills The training offers “common sense” tools taken from the science of ergonomics to help people understand and improve their own work environment and work practices. Improves Communications The training provides employees with the skills to become a vital and active participant in reducing risks. Saves Time and Money Distributing the training over the web saves time and money. The training can occur anywhere there is a computer and at a time convenient to the individual. You can even include custom training videos, animations and graphics! Finished Back Next Page

  4. 2. Management Reports Our exclusive Reporting System is unparalleled. With one touch, you can identify levels of risk for the entire company, the location, the department, or the individual. One of the Job Evaluation Suite’s unique features is its ability to identify high-risk areas anywhere within the company. Users receive the skills and tools necessary to evaluate their own work habits and working conditions. This data is captured and accessed via a web-based application. With measurable results in hand, management can create a proactive process to improve workplace efficiency and safety. Finished Back Next Page

  5. The Job Evaluation Suite complies with OSHA regulations and voluntary programs because it: • Provides basic ergonomics training for all employees and more detailed training on an as-needed basis. • Creates a participatory process in which employees complete a personal evaluation of their work environment and work practices. • Produces reports that track the effects of corrective actions and preventative measures. • Creates the documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with the requirements listed above. 3. Meeting or Exceeding Any Ergonomics Standard or Requirement If you have an effective and documented ergonomics process in place, you already meet the requirements of any existing or potential standard. 6. A Cumulative Trauma Injury is a Sign of an Inefficient Task This amazing tool helps you focus on reducing risks, not chasing problems! If pain and discomfort are present, human performance is reduced and the chance of cumulative trauma injury is increased. Rather than focusing on the lagging indicator of prior injuries, the Job Evaluation Suite concentrates on quantifying the levels of risks. Management and employees can now reduce risks rather than waiting and reacting to injuries. How can you be proactive if you don’t know where the risks are? Finished Back Next Page

  7. Our Job Evaluation Suite Saves Money You cannot reduce injuries, because an injury is an event that has already occurred. However, you can reduce the chance of injury by reducing risks. Unfortunately, an injury comes to management’s attention only after the injury occurs. After an injury occurs companies have a tendency to go into reactive overdrive, making expensive and wholesale changes in the hope of reducing future injuries. Our Job Evaluation Suite avoids this situation by identifying high-risk areas and then tracking the effectiveness of programs designed to reduce risks. Finished Back Next Page

  8. Sample Screen from the “Lifting” Evaluation Tool The user selects his/her name, and then selects from a list of identifiers such as business unit, location, and/or department. The titles and the number of these identifiers are customized for each organization. The job evaluation tools allow the user to evaluate tasks involving lifting, hands and arms, or computers. “Judy” instructs the user to begin evaluating a “Lifting” task by clicking on the word “Weight.” Click on the yellow text below to view screens from the Hands and Arms or the Office Evaluation Tools. Finished View Hands and Arms Tool View Office Evaluation Tool Back Next Page

  9. Sample Screen for the Weight Risk Factor The “Evaluation” page for each risk factor provides the user with brief training and a range of possible evaluation scores. The user may click on the “Training” tab to receive more training. Finished Back Next Page

  10. Sample Screen Showing Training for the Risk Factor “Weight” Each “Training” page provides the user with additional information about the risk factor being evaluated. Finished Back Next Page

  11. Sample Screen Showing Body Basics Advanced Training Clicking the “Body Basics” tab will display the “Table of Contents.” Here is a sample of a portion of one chapter. Finished Back Next Page

  12. Sample Screen Showing a Completed “Lifting” Evaluation The completed evaluation color-codes the various levels of risk for each of the factors. Finished Back Next Page

  13. Sample Screen Showing Scores Presented in the Report The row on the top displays the database filters in use; in this case the employee name, company, location, and department. The section to the right shows the scores for each risk factor. The user has also completed several evaluations, and the scores for each job are displayed to the left. The data can be easily sorted to create a customized report by clicking on any blue word in the report. Finished Back Next Page

  14. Sample Screen from Reports By removing or adding database filters, the reports can be customized to present any desired data. The screen below shows a global report identifying the average score followed by the number of evaluations conducted and the range of upper and lower scores. Reports can be e-mailed from one manager to another. Because the reports are dynamic each manager may query the data important to him or her. Finished Back Next Page
