Early in Career update – for information • Background • The UK currently has 1.09 million unemployed, young people. • All employers are under increasing pressure to provide work experience and job opportunities to help get young people into work. • YTD Santander has hired 1533, 16-24 year olds, as part of our BAU resourcing activity but we want to do more.. • Increase the potential & capability of young joiners by transferring a proportion onto EiC programs • Santander is committed to supporting the communities in which we live and the youth employment agenda
