  8. E P O M M ECOMM 2015: Declaration of Utrecht (1) The world is changing more rapidly than ever and policies have to anticipate and adapt to these changes MM has to be taken into account in foresights, vision development and backcasting efforts EPOMM can facilitate these efforts

  9. E P O M M ECOMM 2015: Declaration of Utrecht (2) MM affects many other areas and vice versa We need a European Strategy on MM as a holistic approach that brings it all together; and that includes shared views EPOMM can facilitate these efforts

E P O M M ECOMM 2015: Declaration of Utrecht (3) Evidence on the effect of MM is needed to support the implementation and further development of MM We need to collect the evidence on the impacts of MM policies including showcases Furthermore, data collection has to be improved EPOMM can facilitate these efforts

  11. E P O M M ECOMM 2015: Declaration of Utrecht (4) MM enables a balanced approach We need a shared understanding and awareness of how MM can help to meet EU objectives EPOMM can facilitate this effort

E P O M M ECOMM 2015: Declaration of Utrecht (5) To implement MM, the cooperation of all relevant actors on all institutional levels is needed The development of a European Master Plan on MM is an important stepping stone towards sustainable mobility in Europe EPOMM can facilitate this effort

  13. The European Commission, the European Parliament and the EU Presidencies are kindly invited to take these conclusions and messages into account while developing and implementing policies, strategies and actions.
