  2. The time I rode a train to the Grand Canyon was the best time of my life. It was the summer of 2008. I was with my family, I was 9 years old. We were on a train to the Grand Canyon. It was in July and it was the greatest.

  3. While I was on the train, the attendant said, “Get a dollar out and there will be a special surprise.” So, we followed her directions and waited. As we were riding along watching out the window we saw a cowboy stop the train. The cowboy smelled like the desert. He stole the dollar from us then left. I knew it was just a skit. When we got off the train at the Grand Canyon, I got more and more excited.

  4. “Wow! I commented, it’s beautiful.” “Yes it is,” said my mom. I could see all the colors of the Grand Canyon. I could feel the red orange canyon rocks. The canyon was a colorful as a Crayola crayon. I felt like it was welcoming me. I was so excited because it was the Grand Canyon! A while later we were still at the Grand Canyon and I said, “this is the best vacation ever.” I loved the Grand Canyon so much I want to go back again soon.
