  2. Your Task… • As you will read in The Great Gatsby, there were many extravagant parties thrown on Long Island in the 1920s.  • Imagine if you were one of the guests of Mr. Gatsby. What would your life be like? • Your objective is to describe the life of a young, affluent member of urban society during the 1920s. You will create a personality – name, occupation, clothing style, hobbies, etc. - based on the information you find.

The Process… 1. Start by doing some background research on the 1920s. 2.  After you have learned about the different types of people from this decade, select what type of person for which you will create a character profile 3. Begin creating the character profile using the website. You will need to watch the tutorial video 4. Create a name, occupation, and birth date for your character. In addition, add personal information about your character. This may include family, hobbies, where they live, etc. You need to find a picture to use as your character. 5. Post 3 status updates of what your character is doing. 6. Save your character profile, and send it to your teacher. 7. Complete the reflection questions.
