  1. Pen Argly Warehouse

  2. Some Calculations = H = 10 inches Height AB = H = 40 Inches Width BE = W = 21inches Length = L = CD = 10inches = W = 12 inches L = 17 inches • The box volume = Length * Width * Height = 17 * 12 * 10 = 2040 • The largest swimsuit volume 24W Women = length * Width * Height = 9.5 * 8.5 * 2.5 = 201.875 • Approximately, every box can fit 2040 / 201.875 10 large swimsuit (24W Women).

  3. Some Calculations D Height AB = H = 40 Inches Width BE = W = 25inches Length = L = CD = 22inches L W B E C H A • The volume of the area that the 10 large swimsuit occupy when we hang them on a rack is : • Length * Width * Height = 25 * 21 * 35 = 18375 inches

  4. Folding • Calculating the number of boxes, which we can fit on every rack • boxes per row * boxes per column * 2 sides • Rack A, B = 9 * 8 * 2 = 144 boxes on both sides for every rack. • Rack C = 8 * 8 * 2 = 128 boxes on both sides. • Rack D to T = 17 * 8 * 2 = 272 boxes on both side for every rack Conclusion: We can fit: 144 (2) + 128 + 272(17) = 288 + 128 + 4624 = 5040 boxes 5040 Box/SKU * 10 item per box = 50400 items • Please note this number is a minimum based on the calculation using size 24w Women, which is one of the largest swim suits

  5. Hanging • Calculating the number of hanged swimsuits, which we can fit on every rack • Length of the rack/2.5 * 3 Pipes * 2 sides • Rack A, B = 142/2.5 * 3 * 2 = 340swim suits on both sides for every rack. • Rack C = 120/2.5 * 3 * 2 = 288 swim suits on both sides. • Rack D to T = 271/2.5 * 3 * 2 = 650 swim suits on both sides for every rack Conclusion: We can fit: 340(2) + 288 + 650(17) = 680+ 288+ 11050= 12018 swim suits Please note this number is a minimum based on the calculation using size 24w Women, which is one of the largest swim suits

  6. Rate • Using one rack we can: • Hang 650 Items • Fold 2720 Items • Ratio is: • 2720/650 4 • 4 folded to 1 hanged

  7. Conclusion Using the folding method, we can fit: • 5040 Boxes. This means we can have 5040 SKUs. •  50400 items. Please note this number is a minimum based on the calculation using size 24w Women, which is one of the largest swim suits Using the hanging method, we can fit: • 12018 items. Again, please note this number is a minimum based on the calculation on the same swim suit. Conclusion: • The rate is 1 hanged swim suit to approximately 4 folded space wise. The disadvantage of having folded swim suits is that we are limited to a lower number of SKUs. However, this is not a problem in our situation because we only have around 2500 SKUs for Cyberswim and around 2170 after April’s delivery for Miraclebody.                                                                                                                                                                                            2500 + 2170 = 4670 SKUs for both company and we will have 330 free SKUs.
