  4. 1. Abhor – (v.) to hate deeply abhor

  5. 2. Amend – (v.) to change in a formal way; change for the better One must amend their bad habits before they define who they are.

  6. 3. Buffet - (v.) to strike repeatedly; to drive or force with blows • Unusual snowstorms buffet the Midwest during the spring months.

  7. 4. Chaos – (n.) great confusion or disorder Mass chaos could erupt if we don’t have some kind of order in our day.

  8. 5. Commodious – (adj.) roomy or spacious • One would expect this yacht to be very commodious due to its size.

  9. 6. Corrosive - (adj.) eating away gradually; acid like; bitterly sarcastic • Certain foods could be corrosive to your body if consumed in excess.

  20. 17. Turbulent (adj.) disorderly, riotous, violent; stormy The storm has caused turbulent conditions among the sea.

  21. 18. Vociferous - (adj.) loud and noisy; compelling attention With his keen fashion sense and vociferous voice, the boy was on his way to be a rock star.

  22. 19. Voluminous – (adj.) of great size; numerous; ;writing or speaking at great length The baked good from this baker are known to be voluminous and delicious.
