  3. About the UH SBDC Network: • Originated in 1984 • Economic Development for UH and Bauer College of Business • Resource partners of SBA and DoD • Responsible for serving businesses in lower Gulf Coast area • Fifteen full time service centers in partnership with universities, colleges, and EDCs
