La Plata High School, under the leadership of Principal Evelyn Arnold, is committed to improving instructional practices through immediate visual feedback to teachers, particularly in grouping strategies. By differentiating between learning goals and tasks, we aim to strengthen support for Evaluation Team Leaders and enhance student learning outcomes. Initiatives include training on data warehousing and developing electronic portfolios for both staff and students, moving away from traditional paper methods. Community engagement is fostered through PTO meetings discussing Common Core implementation and showcasing student work examples.
