  2. Let’s Brainstorm • Why would we want to use technology in Education? • Could you give an example of how you would use a technology program or tool for teaching and learning?

Follow these steps… Frame technology tools with a purpose and within a specific task. 1 2 3 Choose appropriate technology to support the goal Define a goal Design a task or activity to support the goal Students will define the relationship among the concepts of natural resources, their properties, and types of resources After completing a lesson about the concept of natural resources, their properties and types of existing resources, students will create a graphic showing how all the concepts are related Concept map or outline graphing tools (Mindmeister or Inspiration software)

  6. Group Exercise • You assign your students a group project and ask them to communicate and work on the project outside of class. The final outcome is one group presentation that they will deliver in class to their classmates. • You want students to feel engaged when they practice math skills. You know that if they are engaged, they will learn more. • You want your students to practice their persuasive writing skills.
