  1. Geothermal Energy & Bio fuels

  2. Geothermal Energy & Bio fuels Geothermal energy : is energy created from the earth. Also is a renewable energy, it’s non polluting and it’s inexpensiveBio fuels : are produced by converting organic matter into fuel for powering our society. Also Bio fuel Is created by processing an organic compound into a usable energy source

  3. How Geothermal energy & Bio Fuels are used as a form of energy? Geothermal To Electric Energy Geothermal has to main types , which is that energy can be used as heat or water. Also it can produce electric energy .Bio Fuels : burn cleaner then fossil fuels , they don’t make a bad smell when burned

  4. Benefits Emissions are low - Geothermal Reduced cost of fuel to generate electricity - Geothermal Reduced reliance on imported oil and exposure to the volatile world oil price market. - Geothermal Are cheaper than fossil fuels.- Bio fuelsReduce dependence on foreign oils. Oil fluctuates in price rapidly, so changing to bio fuels will help buffer against the change.-Bio FuelsReduced reliance on imported oil and exposure to the volatile world oil price market.- Bio FuelsCan help prevent engine knocking. –Bio Fuels

  5. Disadvantages Bio fuels Geothermal Locating a site for trapping geothermal energy requires certain factors geothermal energy results in the emission of hazardous gases such as hydrogen sulfide, which come to the surface of the earth along with the hot water. Geothermal can cause environmental pollution • There are better solutions- such as using hydrogen fuel cells • Not many gas stations have bio fuels available at the moment. This discourages people from buying cars that are not reliant only on gas. • Burning corn may release high concentrations of nitrous oxide into the air, which is a Green House Gases • More land must be set aside to make bio fuels. Natural habitats (flora and fauna) may be lost as a result
