Energie distributie voor niet-tractie toepassingen : - lokale aansluiting op het distributienet (10- 15kV) of via intern NMBS hoogspannings- distributienet ; - transformatie; - laagspanningsdistributie. Verzekerde energievoorziening voor seininrichtingsinstallaties : - ontdubbeling van de aansluiting op het distributienet; - lokale backup door statische no- breaks met batterijbuffer of noodelektrogeengroep; - ontdubbeling van de infrastructuur (redundantie).

  6. Traktie-onderstation 25 kV : - aansluiting op het transportnet 150 kV; - transformatie 150kV/25kV; - beveiligings- en schakelapparatuur; - distributie naar 25 kV bovenleidingsinfrastructuur.

  7. Bovenleidingsinfrastructuur : - opgesplist in sectoren; - telebediend netwerk.

  8. Noodelektrogeengroep voor voeding seininriching : - op plaatsen waar geen ontdubbeling is van de aansluiting op het distributienet van de stroomleveraar; - op de belangrijke knooppunten (vb. Brussel).
