  2. Geographical situation • England is the largest of the countries that make up the UK. England is situated to the east of Wales and to the south of Scotland. England is washed by the North Sea; the Irish Sea; the Atlantic Ocean; the English Channel and the Strait of Dover.

  3. Population Capital city • The capital of England is London. • About 50 million people out of the population of the UK live in England.

  4. English people The English are said to be interesting people. The English are thought not to like changes very much. The English are said not to spend much money on clothes. The English are said to be polite. The English are said to love animals. English people are considered to be reserved. That’s true.

  5. My thoughts When I think of England I imagine only London. When I think of London I think of Queen, Kings and Big Ben, palaces, Trafalgar Square, wonderful castles, holidays, traditions and customs.
