  3. Who are they? • Poor • Rural ( especially remote geographical areas) • Girls • Child labour/bonded children • Ethnic and religious minorities • Affected by Conflict and disasters • Disabled • Refugees/Immigrants • Street children/Prisoners children • Beggar/ Orphan children • Nomad

  4. Where are they? • Countrywide - Remote rural areas - Conflict/disaster affected areas - Urban slums

Relevant National Policy • Article 25-A of the constitution of Pakistan- “The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such manner as may be determined by law” • Provincial legislation for article 25-A being formulated ; • NEP 2009 • Vision 2013 • National Plan of Action for Education for All (2001-2015)
