CCAPBi Directional Interface Discussion Session Beth Rudy Rick Miracola
Interface • What is a bi-directional interface? • eWiSACWIS and CCAP will be sharing information to and from each other.
Matching • First things first. How will we match participants to ensure the data we are gathering is on the correct child?
Matching • Option #1 • Have users manually search for children based on a repository similar to the JJ repository.
Matching • Option #2 • Have Users enter SACWIS IDs on templates that they use to initiate the court process
Matching • Things to think about with either option • At what point is this information actually entered by court staff? • Who enters this information for your county? • Will matching participants (either through a repository or by entering numbers) be worth the extra work? • What form/forms initiate the court process? If that form is not a SACWIS form, entering ID’s will be manual.
