Development of a Sensor Network Using MSP430 Microcontrollers and Zigbee Communication

This project focuses on creating a robust sensor network utilizing Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontrollers. The team aims to evaluate different Zigbee communication stacks, including Z-stack, SimpliciTI, and a custom solution, to determine the most effective for their application. Future work will involve deploying the sensor network for population detection based on sensor data, integrating it with other devices such as GPS and Bluetooth, and collaborating with a team from Georgia Tech to enhance the project's scope and impact.
