  2. vocabulary • Trade networks: A system of people in different lands who trade goods. • Import: Goods brought in by other regions. • Export: Items sent to other regions. • Trade routes: Paths followed by traders. • Delta: A triangle shaped area of land made of soil deposited by a river. • Pharaoh: The title used by the rulers of Egypt. • After Life: Life after death. ( Delta to Right )

  3. Geography • Ancient Egypt was famous for it’s colossal pyramids. The pyramids provided a tourist attraction and brought in money. • Ancient Egypt was centered around the Nile river. The Nile provided water ,transportation, fertile crops and more. • Ancient Egypt was also home to the Sahara desert ( Nile River to Right )

  4. King Tut ( King tuts tomb to right ) • Became pharaoh when he was 12 years old. • Ruled for 9 years until his death in 1322 B.C. • Faced a decision when he was twelve years old. He had to decide weather to open the shrines of Osiris and the other gods that King Akhenaton had closed.

  6. Conflict • Hitties invaded and conquered during the Middle Egypt Time Period. • Nubians then others invaded during The New Egypt Time Period. • Suffered frequent rebellions during The middle Egypt Time Period. ( Nubians to Right )
