  1. Coming to KY Soon! Soon you will be able to register for automated phone calls to you with important protective order information. • VINE Protective Order will call you: • When the order is served on the respondent (abuser) • Several days before hearings (reminder) • Weeks before the order expires You will also have a 24-hour toll-free number to call for information about your order. • This service will be available in Kentucky byOctober 2006. • Brochures will be provided by the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, domestic violence shelter programs, and the Cabinet for Families and Children (DCBS). • Check with your local domestic violence shelter program for more information. Registration for this new Kentucky service will be voluntary, anonymous, and free! VINE Protective Order Victims with domestic violence protective orders will soon be able to register to receive calls with information about their protective orders-- when orders are served on the respondent (abuser), hearing reminders, and expiration alert. Available NOW! VINE (800) 511-1670 Crime victims and others can now register for calls when an offender is released from jail or the offender’s custody status changes. Brady Notification (877)242-4035 Victims with domestic violence protective orders (after court hearing) can now register to be notified if the respondent (abuser) tries to buy a firearm from a licensed gun dealer. What is the difference?
