  5. Polished stone These are well polished stones.

  6. Volcanic rock This is a piece of cooled lava I found in Death Valley.

  7. Petrified wood This is petrified wood. Petrified wood is made when a piece of wood is mixed with rock minerals and hardens.

  8. Polished geode This is a polished geode that looks like the Statue of Liberty.

  9. pyrite Pyrite is a rock that has a mineral called mica in it

  10. Shell fossil This is a shell fossil in lime stone .

  11. coal This is coal. coal is made by peat. Peat is made when plants decay for a long time.

  12. I don't know what this is but I think it is a type of ruby.
