  4. “Spin-offs” and “Dot Coms” Heralded in Higher Ed • A means to introduce business principles • Venture capital available to jump start initiatives • Online learning to provide low-cost alternatives • Spin offs to provide needed revenue streams

  12. Faculty involvement is critical to future success Address Faculty concerns head on Teaching with web technology requires upfront investment of time Faculty can’t work alone when teaching with web technology Lessons from the faculty
