  2. Objective: To evaluate and analyze social deviance in American society. Product: Synthesized essay-5 paragraphs in length Unit 4 Social Deviance Essay Project

Use online and library resources to search for a new article involving an example or element of social deviance from reputable news source (i.e. a periodical-newspaper, news magazine, etc., or online news outlet). • Use online and library resources to research the social deviance illustrated in the article. Use at least 2 secondary sources other than the news article for your essay. Research

  4. Analyze the events, behaviors, trends, etc. associated with the news article using information gathered through your secondary source research. • Create an outline for your 5 paragraph essay I. Topic A. Thesis statement or topic sentence 1. Supporting details Outline

Type a thoughtful rough draft of your essay, and have it peer-edited by at least 2 other students. • Type a thoughtful final draft of your essay, free of grammatical and spelling errors. • All drafts should be TYPED, double-spaced and in 12 point font. • Include a bibliography page.
