  36. What is a Reasonable Accommodation? • A reasonable accommodation is any change in an employee’s work environment that would allow them to perform the essential functions of their job and not create an undue hardship on the agency.

Things you SHOULD know….. • The ADA was amended this year to expand the definition of “qualified individual with a disability.” This is known as the ADA Amendments Act of 2009 • The agency has a legal obligation to provide a reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities.
