  2. Editorial • an article in a newspaper or other periodical presenting the opinion of the publisher, editor, or editors. • The newspaper publisher wrote an editorialfor the paper, his opinion on the subject.

  3. Hesitation • a state of doubt or uncertainty • Lola’s hesitation caused her whole team the championship.

  4. Incredulous • not credulous; disinclined or indisposed to believe; skeptical. • Ralph was incredulous over the answers on her test.

  5. Nonchalantly • coolly unconcerned, indifferent, or unexcited; casual • Bob’s nonchalantly behavior made our team lose the race.

  6. Rebellious • defying or resisting some established authority, government, or tradition; insubordinate; inclined to rebel • Her daughter was very rebellious and never came home by curfew.

  7. Reputation • the estimation in which a person or thing is held, especially by the community or the public generally; repute • The girl gained a lot of reputation when she made cheerleader.

  8. Rivalry • the action, position, or relation of a rival or rivals; competition • The Tigers have a big rivalry against the Razorbacks.

  9. Sarcasm • a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark. • He had a deep sarcasm in his tone that rarely disappeared.

  10. Sympathetic • acting or affected by, of the nature of, or pertaining to a special affinity or mutual relationship; congenial • The girl was sympathetic to the lost dog walking around the street.

  11. Unfathomable • to penetrate to the truth of; comprehend; understand • We were amazed at the unfathomable depths of the ocean.
