  3. Traits and powers of Achilles Achilles was a very powerful mortal and his body was invulnerable other than his heel

  4. Achilles Symbols • Achilles most known symbol is his shield. • His shield represents and incomplete defense because he was shot in the heel and died of the wound.

  5. Achilles Personaility • he was vain, selfish, impatient, stubborn and even cruel.

  6. Achilles Siblings & Family He was married to Deidamia Peleus and Thetis were his parents. His cousin was Patrokles.

  7. Story about Achilles • When he was a baby his mother put him in a river that made his entire body invulnerable but his mother was holding him by his ankle so that she wouldn’t have to let him go and he would flow away with the river so his heel was the only vulnerable part on his body.
