Training for LUT and Coefficient Updates • A key element of successful transition of algorithm responsibility to DPA and NOAA STAR is proficiency in look up table (LUT) and coefficient updates • This, in turn, requires proficiency in algorithm support functions (ASFs) and XML editing, respectively • We need to conduct joint training of the application leads or their designees (NGAS and RTN for ASFs, RTN for XML editing [including DQM/DQM-Lite]) • Purpose of this discussion is to establish: • Who conducts the training • Who receives the training • When, where, and how the training should occur
