  2. What is an addiction? • With the person sitting next to you, come up with a definition of the word addiction

  3. Definitions Addiction • The fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. Addicted • Physically and mentally dependent on a particular substance, and unable to stop taking it without incurring adverse effects. • Enthusiastically devoted to a particular thing or activity.

  4. What can we become addicted to? • With your same partner- come up with some things that may become addicting

  5. Who do Addictions Affect? • Is there a specific group of people affected by addictions?
