  1. During February half-term! Land The Book of the a 9 day tour of Israeland Palestinebased in Galilee, Bethlehem and Jerusalem led by Mike Fuller

  2. Mike Fuller is a Baptist Minister, international Bible teacher, New Wine speaker, teacher of Religious Studies, and author of “The Entire Story of the Bible in 50 Minutes”.

  3. Saturday 15th February Morning flight from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv

  4. Saturday 15th February On to our Hotel in Tiberias, a few hundred yards from the Sea of Galilee Evening free!

  5. Sunday 16th February We start the day with an “orientation” multi-media presentation introducing Galilee…

  6. Sunday 16th February … then view the 2000 year old “Jesus boat” at a nearby kibbutz …

  7. Sunday 16th February We sail across the lake on a replica of this boat, pausing on the lake for our Sunday worship…

  8. Sunday 16th February We visit Kursi on the Sea of Galilee - the site associated with the story of the “Gadarene swine” …

  9. Sunday 16th February … the recently discovered village of Bethsaida, Peter and Andrew’s home … The “Fishermen’s House” at Bethsaida

  10. Sunday 16th February … then continue to Capernaum (Jesus’ home town) …

  11. Sunday 16th February … where we see Peter’s house and the ancient synagogue.

  12. Sunday 16th February We visit Tabgha (associated with the feeding of the 5000, and one of Jesus’ resurrection appearances)

  13. Sunday 16th February We end the day with worship together on the “Mount of the Beatitudes”

  14. Monday 17th February Today we explore Galilee more, passing Mount Tabor (a possible site of the Transfiguration) …

  15. Monday 17th February We visit Cana (the site of Jesus’ first miracle, turning water into wine) …

  16. Monday 17th February In Nazareth, we visit sites connected with the childhood of Jesus … The Church of the Annunciation The Church of the Well

  17. Monday 17th February … we also visit Nazareth Village, built to show and explain life and trades in the time of Jesus.

  18. Monday 17th February … and the Mount of the Precipice, where Jesus walked through the crowd that sought to throw him down …

  19. Monday 17th February At the end of the day, it may be possible to baptise any member of the group who wants this – in the Jordan river Please talk to Mike about this beforehand!

  20. Tuesday 18th February Leaving the Galilee, we drive south passing through the Wadi Kelt (the valley of the shadow of death) and St George’s Monastery

  21. Tuesday 18th February Approaching Jerusalem, we visit Bethany to see the tomb of Lazarus …

  22. Tuesday 18th February Arriving in Jerusalem, we view the city from the top of the Mount of Olives …

  23. Tuesday 18th February We enter Jerusalem, seeing for the first time the Western Wall - a buttressing wall which is all that remains of the Temple …

  24. Tuesday 18th February … and explore the tunnels under the Temple Mount …

  25. Tuesday 18th February … at one point, walking on flagstones that Jesus almost certainly walked on.

  26. Tuesday 18th February We continue to see the excavations of David’s city

  27. Tuesday 18th February … and, for those who want, walk through Hezekiah’s tunnel …

  28. Tuesday 18th February … finishing at the Pool of Siloam.

  29. Tuesday 18th February Our new hotel is within the Palestinian territory, in Bethlehem

  30. Wednesday 19th February In the morning we visit Herodion, one of Herod’s palaces … …

  31. Wednesday 19th February … then see the“Shepherds’ Fields”, and worship in one of the ancient shepherds’ caves.

  32. Wednesday 19th February We visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

  33. Wednesday 19th February We visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

  34. Wednesday 19th February The remainder of the day is free to meet local Arab Christians, visit the Bethlehem Bible College, and visit a local orphanage

  35. Thursday 20th February We return to the Western Wall - the buttressing wall which is all that remains of the Temple … … hopefully, seeing a Bar Mitzvah…

  36. Thursday 20th February We see the Temple Mount, now the location of the Al Aqsa mosque

  37. Thursday 20th February ….and then walk into Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, following the route Jesus took on the first Palm Sunday …

  38. Thursday 20th February …. stopping at the Dominus Flavit church, which marks the place where Jesus wept over Jerusalem

  39. Thursday 20th February We spend some time in contemplation and worship at Gethsemane …

  40. Thursday 20th February We spend some time in contemplation and worship at Gethsemane …

  41. Thursday 20th February … and then follow the “Last path” through the Kidron valley …

  42. Thursday 20th February … and visit a possible site of Caiaphas’ house

  43. Thursday 20th February We see a possible location of the Upper Room …

  44. Thursday 20th February We then settle into our new hotel, just a few minutes’ walk from the old city of Jerusalem

  45. Friday 21st February In the morning, we visit the newly extended Yad Vashem Holocaust museum …

  46. Friday 21st February Returning to the Old City, we visit the Bethesda pool, where Jesus healed a paralysed man

  47. Friday 21st February We see the Lithostratus (thought to be part of the courtyard from Herod’s Antonia Fortress)

  48. Friday 21st February We follow part of the “Via Dolorosa” – remembering Jesus’ walk to the cross …

  49. Friday 21st February We see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the traditional location of the crucifixion

  50. Friday 21st February We finish the day with quiet reflection at an alternative site for Jesus’ death and resurrection … “Gordon’s Calvary” and the Garden Tomb
