2014 NDRA Spring Conference

The 2014 NDRASpring Conference took place in Bismarck, North Dakota from April 3-5, bringing together educators, authors, and literacy advocates. Keynote speakers included Timothy Shanahan and Dr. Bill McBride, who explored the importance of effective literacy instruction. Participants engaged in discussions about Jerry Pallota's innovative math and alphabet books, Mary Casanova's young readers' picture books, and Douglas Wood's literary contributions, emphasizing the significance of humor, nature, and feelings in children’s literature.
