ERCOT’s 09/18/12 Board Update • Advanced Meter Settlement Impacts • September 2012 – ERCOT settling 5.6M ESIIDs using Advanced Meter data as of 8/29/2012 • Settlements as of 8/29/12 – 90%of the load in ERCOT is settled using 15-minute interval data (AMS and IDR) • Commercial Market Operations Report located at: • http://www.ercot.com/calendar/2012/09/20120918-BOD

  3. AMS Meter Installation Status Report Oncor (approximately): • Installed: 3,104,036 as of 09.30.2012 • Deployment Plan: • 2010 – 929,000 meters – Complete! • 2011 – 902,000 meters – Complete! • 2012 – 902,000 meters

  4. AMS Meter Installation Status Report CNP (approximately): • Installed: 2,283,012as of 07.31.2012 • Deployment Plan: • 2010 – 756,684 meters – Complete! • 2011 –   960,327 meters – Complete! • 2012 –   373,423 meters – Complete! • Deployment Complete as of 7/31/2012

NOGRR100 – Extending Manual Time Error Correction (TCE) Votes Completed • June 20, 2012: • Retail Market Subcommittee (RMS) unanimously endorsed NOGRR100 as recommended by ERCOT and Metering Issues Taskforce • July 18, 2012: • Operations Working Group (OWG) was in consensus to recommend approval of NOGRR100 as submitted. • August 15, 2012: • OWG was in consensus to recommend Impact Analysis (IA). NOGRR100 language and IA next step is ROS on 9/13/12 • September 13, 2012: • Reliability & Operations Subcommittee (ROS) consideration • ROS Unanimously APPROVED NOGRR100 language and IA

  9. Implementation of NOGRR-100 • NOGRR-100 titled “Extending Manual Time Error Correction Threshold” was approved by TAC in its October 4th, 2012 meeting • The approved language will be effective November 1, 2012. • ERCOT will revise the Operating Procedure to reflect the revised approved language • ERCOT will also send out the market notice informing the extended manual time-error initiation threshold • The NAESB procedure on manual Time-Error Correction was also updated (see below) ERCOT Public

  10. Recommend MITF Sunset • With the TAC Approval of NOGRR100 and its implementation at NAESB, ERCOT and the Market, the Metering Issues Taskforce (MITF) has completed their deliverables by resolving the market concerns and issues surrounding manual Time Error Corrections as requested by RMS therefore: • MITF request that RMS “sunset” our Taskforce!
