  1. January 2007 page 1 From the Managing Director….. Welcome to the first issue of CEO’s Newsletters for 2007 I hope that everyone has enjoyed a very relaxing break and is ready to hit the ground running for what I’m sure will be a very successful year for all. We at CEO are very excited about the year ahead. There are several new locations set to open, renovations and refurbishments planned for some of our older sites. Improved telephone / internet systems, networking events and of course even more fantastic money saving specials are on the books for 2007. We have a fresh format for our monthly newsletters this year, with a profile on one CEO team member so you can get to know us better. We are also introducing an advertorial opportunity for one company in each edition. We hope that this will be a way of generating awareness of your business amongst CEO’s many clients, which may in turn result in more business opportunities for you. If you are interested in being profiled, or would like to raise awareness for a particular event / charity (see the back page “Run for Your Life”) please contact your Centre Manager. From all at CEO, we wish you a great year and look forward to being of service to you. First approaching CEO for work experience three years ago, Olivia’s dedication and determination to succeed was evident early on. This need to succeed flows onto her passion for swimming and her talent and dedication has seen Olivia reach heights of success that some of us only dream about! Through strenuous training Olivia has been successful in swimming competitions around the globe. Most recently she competed in the 2007 Victorian Down Syndrome Swimming Championships at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, January 3 – 7 and set world record times in both the 50m backstroke and butterfly events. As a valued member of the CEO team, everyone wishes Olivia the best of luck in her next comp – The World Down Syndrome Invitational Meet in Taiwan this June. CEO NEWS & MOVES Bring on the Breakfast!! With so many different companies under the one roof, CEO clients can attend the breakfasts, meet some new friends and perhaps even exchange company services. SON offer If you have a business trip planned and need a meeting room, make use of CEO’s worldwide connections. As a member of the Serviced Office Network (SON) CEO clients are given 8 hours per month of complimentary meeting room use and access to facilities at over 700 locations world wide. So whether it is a business trip to Singapore, New York or London, please contact your centre management for further details or to arrange your next trip. Work underway at IBM Melbourne’s IBM centre is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment which will include a new PABX phone system, a fresh look for the reception, corridors and common areas. The phone system is the first of it’s kind in Australia and is extremely user friendly – all clients will be shown how to make the most out of what the MX One has to offer, which includes the choice of being able to use IP Telephones. IBM clients will enjoy a fresher, more modern centre which we hope will be completed by the end of May. Run for your life CEO would like to show their support for the Run for your Life campaign. The 3km, 5km or 8km run will be held at Lake Daylesford on Saturday 17th of March, which raises money to support friends, family and carers living with those who have cancer. It will be a great social day or weekend and will help to raise awareness of those suffering from cancer in rural areas. So come on, show you care by registering online at www.runforyourlife.org.au or by calling 03 9898 8636. CEO are very excited to be bringing you networking breakfasts. The breakfasts will take place on the first Friday of every month so put it into your diaries now! This will be a great opportunity for all of those at CEO to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the company of your office neighbors.
