Scientific Notation • To convert from regular to scientific: 24,560,000,000 kg • Move the decimal point so that the number is between 1 and 9 (count the number of places that it moved) • Round the decimal part to the second place • Slap a “x 10” at the end of the number • Give the 10 an exponent- the number of spaces you counted • If you moved the decimal to left: (+) exp. • If you moved it to the right: (-) exp. 2.4560000000 kg 2.46 x 1010 kg 2.46 kg 2.46 x 10 kg

And you must solve for “v” Circle Mr. Stinky Identify the furthest thing from Mr. Stinky & how it’s connected (+, -, x, or ÷) – Reverse order of operations Make it move to the other side of the equal sign by doing the opposite function Just make sure you do it to BOTH sides of the equal sign!!!!
