Welcome to Third Grade

In Third Grade at Hedenkamp Elementary, our focus is on fostering participation, responsibility, and respect in our students. We encourage life-long learning through daily completion of assignments and homework. Our daily schedule includes breakfast, silent reading, language development, literature, independent studies, math, writing, and plenty of recess! Curriculum follows Common Core State Standards, covering reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. We also provide necessary support for homework and daily work through organized folders. Let’s have a great year!
