  1. ANNOUNCEMENTS Welcome to The Nekoosa United Church of Christ! It’s wonderful to have you with us!   2. ANNOUNCEMENTS Holy Communion will be served as part of today’s worship service. The United Church of Christ practices open communion and invites all who love God and desire to participate in the Body of Christ to join us at the Table of Christ. Nekoosa UCC - 6/3/2012

  3. ANNOUNCEMENTS We proudly acknowledge two high school graduates from our church family today; Taylor Sorenson (Assumption) and Tanner Sorenson (Lincoln). Congratulations on completing your high school careers! Let’s keep these special young people in our prayers as they’ll soon be beginning a new journey in their young lives. Nekoosa UCC - 6/3/2012

  4. ANNOUNCEMENTS Sunday school for ages 7 and up, has completed for the church year. Throughout summer, Barbara Schauer will again lead a summer Sunday school class for 3 to 6 year olds (9:45 - 10:45 AM). Nekoosa UCC - 6/3/2012

  5. ANNOUNCEMENTS Our Softball team will begin their season on Tuesday, June 5th. That night, they’ll take on Cornerstone at CERA Park; game time is 7 PM. More players (and fans) are always welcomed. Contact Elliott Schider (886-4428) or Tom Kirst (886-5544) if interested. Nekoosa UCC - 6/3/2012

  6. ANNOUNCEMENTS Barbara Schauer is seeking out volunteers to work at the Food Pantry in Wisconsin Rapids. Help is needed between June 18th and June 22nd. Hours are from 1 to 3:30 PM. Three (3) individuals are needed each day. Please give Barbara a call at 887-3213 if you can help provide this important community service. Nekoosa UCC - 6/3/2012

  8. ANNOUNCEMENTS The monthly meetings of Christian Education, Diaconate, Mission & Outreach, and Trustees will take place on Wednesday, June, 20th at 6 pm. The Church Council meeting will follow, beginning at 7 pm. All are open meetings; everyone in the congregation is invited to attend. Nekoosa UCC - 6/3/2012

  9. ANNOUNCEMENTS The “Keep Your Body Movin” exercise program has started at Nekoosa UCC. Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening beginning at 6 pm in the lower level of the church.   10. ANNOUNCEMENTS A Wisconsin Rapids Rafters baseball outing is being planned for Thursday, June 21st. Included is a pre-game picnic beginning at 5:30 and a bleacher ticket to the 7:05 game.
