Aims and Objectives. • The aim/objective of today is to: • This framework should not be viewed as a ‘step by step’ or a prescriptive chronological “how to” teaching and learning guide. • These spaces are the result of an accumulation of a combination of factors. • Each item on their own are as equally important as each other, however once a number of these items are combined the capacity of the space increases.

Black Spaces - Aims and Objectives. • Black Spaces are not vacuous empty spaces. • Black Spaces create the opportunity for… • Our voice(s) to have a space. • Our voice(s) to be heard. • Active participation and representation at all levels. • Therefore an ability have power and control over determining our future (not only in the T&L environment also in terms of our health care service delivery).

Black Spaces - Aims and Objectives. • Black Spaces create the opportunity for… • A dynamic and interactive environments that are constantly changing and continual evolving. • Able to influence how people should behave – both as individuals within the space and as equally important the populations which inhabit these places (Burgess, 2007). • More resistant to Bleach (Whitening).
