Insights on Technology Awareness & Information Security: Student Survey Results

A recent survey reveals critical insights on technology usage and awareness among students. Key findings show that 50% own smartphones, 64% have shared personal information online, and 71% post personal info on Facebook. Notably, 25% do not utilize privacy settings, and 61% add acquaintances as friends. Additionally, 14% of students engage in online activities they wouldn't want their guardians to know about.   11. Protect Your Password • Never share your password • Password length is better than complexity • Use a mixture of upper case, lower case, numbers, and symbols • Change it periodically
