  3. Where are they found? • Grasslands are found in every continent except Antarctica. • They can be found in Eurasia, North America, and South America as well.

  4. The Climate • Did you know that grasslands get about 30 inches of rainfall per year. • In the winter grasslands can be as low as -40°F and in the summer as high as 70°F. • The climate can be very warm and dry depending on the time of the year.

  5. The map The green areas are where the grasslands are located.

  6. What do they look like? • Grass lands actually look like fields of grass.

  7. What animals live in grasslands? • Actually Cheetahs, Zebras, Giraffes, Lions, Flamingos, Wild Hogs, Ants, Wild Hawks, and Kangaroos all live on grasslands.

  8. Plants in grasslands. • The plants in grasslands are prairie blazingstar , sweet coneflower, purple coneflower, wildflowers, herbs, fruit, trees, many different grasses, and cactuses.

  9. Interesting facts! • The two most intersesting facts about my biome are for one, • That people live on grasslands • And two that in the summer the temperature only gets as high as 70 degrees.
