Before School/After School Procedures • Supervision is provided 30 minutes before the start of school and 30 minutes after dismissal time per SBBC • Supervision Time 8:30-9:00/ 2:45-3:15 • Breakfast- go to café in the morning. Then you may eat at campus designated areas breakfast is served from 8:30-8:50. • No breakfast- you can wait outside the classroom. Walk around campus. Sit at eating areas. • Once you are on campus you may NOT leave unless signed out by a parent. No early sign outs 30 minutes prior to the end of school.(discussed later in presentation)

  5. Electronic devices • You are only allowed to use electronics during non-instructional time. Let me clarify non-instructional times: • Before school • Passing periods • Lunch • After school • Field trips • Special events • Keep in mind OFF AND OUT OF SIGHT!!!!! During class times You may only listen to music with ONE ear bud. This is for safety reasons. If you do not abide by the rule you are automatically sent to your dean for disciplinary action. If you are caught with electronics DURING instructional time will result in automatic confiscation. Your parents will have to come and pick up the device after school (1st offense) 24 hours (2nd + offense). No exceptions will be made to this rule.

  6. Electronic devices • The use of social media is not allowed during school hours (9:00-2:45) • Social media sights include: • Face book • MySpace • Twitter • Meet me • Flicker • Instagram • YouTube (is allowed only for instructional purposes only)

  7. Tardiness • 3 tardies = detention

  8. Drugs/alcohol • Drug free school zone • Possession/under the influence results in an automatic expulsion and/or criminal prosecution

  9. Bullying • ZERO TOLERANCE • REPORT ALL BULLYING TO ADMINISTRATION. TEACHERS MUST WRITE A REFERRAL IF A STUDENT IS BULLYING. SILENCE HURTS 754-321-0911 • BULLYING WILL RESULT IN ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: • I.S. • 10 DAY SUSPENSION • POSSIBLE CRIMINAL PROSUCUTION • FIGHTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED (DISSCUSSED LATER IN PRESENTATION) • PEER/GROUP MEDIATION
