  4. Our School • On Friday we had Indian mela. • On Indian mela we got to dress up and do activeties. • I got a mhendi. • A mhendi is a Indian Tatoo. INDIA

  5. Places • The capital city of India is New deli. • Agra is another place in India. • Agra is where the Taj Mahal is. • Mumbai has the most population. • Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Surat and Patna are all cities in India. INDIA

  6. History • Gandhi led India to freedom in 1942. • Gandhi got jailed twice. INDIA

  11. Reliogions • The main Religion in India is Hindu. • You can’t choose to be Hindu, you have to be born in a Hindu family. • One of the main Hindu gods is Ganesh. India

  12. Festivals • The main festivals in India are Diwali and Raksha banda. • Diwali was created when a boy defeated the demon king, so people celebrate by lighting diwali lamps. • Raksha banda is where your brother ties a band around his sisters wrist promising to protect her forever. • India
