  4. preliminary requirements for MC-EDFA First of all, we study the optical characteristics required for MC-EDFA no matter what pumping scheme is used. the same gain properties compared to the conventional EDFA. realize the gain uniformity of the core differential. obtain the low crosstalk between cores. MC-EDFA with core pumping has a merit at this stage
