Client Engagement Report back • In groups of threes, share your experience engaging your client with your classmates. • Provide feedback and support as needed to others • As a group, document what was shared and provide any insights or tips moving forward to the rest of the class. • You have 20-25 minutes to engage one another.

  9. Develop your Strategy Statement • Take a moment to fill out and complete the Social Media Strategy Statement Worksheet (10-15 minutes) • Reconvene with your small group and share your Social Media Strategy Statement. • As a listener of your classmates statements, evaluate and provide constructive feedback. Ask: Is it logical? Is it appropriate? Does it need improvement? • Make any necessary adaptations to your statement based on feedback. • You will have approximately 25-30 minutes in your small group sharing and evaluation.

Strategy Statement • Example: • “Alliance Bakery will pursue a Rallying Strategy on Social Media to achieve it’s business goal of increasing sales in the next 6 months by developing tools and tactics that will Listen, Talk and Energize its target audiences.” • Another Example • “Alliance Bakery will use social media to listen, engage and energize its core fans in a rallying strategy so that they can increase sales opportunities during the slowest times in the winter.”

  11. Your Strategy Statement • Present your Social Media Strategy Statement to the class

  12. Your Assignment • Create an outline for your midterm project based on the Midterm Rubric. It should include titles for your ideas and bullet points to support those ideas. Due in class as a typed and printed copy. • NEXT WEEK • We will review the Midterm Rubric in detail, addressing any issues or questions you may have. We will also review the document style guides.
