  9. SREX Practical Guidelines Section 1 Disaster Risk management and Climatic Extremes. Strengthening of disaster risk managementin light of changes in climatic extremes, in urban areas and typical rural areas (coastal, delta, mountainous, ...) , and that is sensitive to gender and other social relations Section 2 Mainstreaming climate change adaptation in planning and investment. Mainstreaming of climate change adaptation into provincial / municipal master plans, spatial planning and investment plans Section 3 Mainstreaming climate change adaptation in sectors. Mainstreaming of climate change adaptation in social, health and education sector plans and practices, specifically to target the most vulnerable social groups Section 4 Mainstreaming climate change adaptation in design. SREX – CASE STUDIES Suggested Case studies structure: Emergency coordination; needs assessment, accountability, emergency interventions, delivery process, recovery interventions, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and lessons learned. Contribution from NGOs mainly through materials contribution of the Disasters Management and Climate change adaptation works in different regions in Vietnam.
