Primary Runway Extension Description: Extend Runway 9L/27R to 6,000 feet, Add ILS Issues: Current number of operations exceeds FAA threshold for a 6000’ runway for “critical aircraft” Benefits: Per FAA guidelines, provide operational safety for corporate jet aircraft Improve service to airport customers and community Enhance airport operational safety for student pilots Impacts: Slight increase in aircraft operations Funding: FAA 90%, Airport 10%
