APAN Network Storage Working Group Goals and Tasks

This document outlines the goals and tasks for the APAN Network Storage Working Group led by Francis Lee. The primary goal is to transparently host specific information, such as agriculture data, across multiple servers within the APAN framework. Key tasks include drafting a group charter, assessing current servers, consulting with DSI of UCAID, determining optimal server specifications and software requirements (like Linux and mSQL), analyzing data caching and distribution strategies, and selecting the appropriate technology for efficient information retrieval.
