For Discussion • Pull vs Push • Dispel the notion that learning is only content delivery • Working with students to find the right solutions • Explore/use “all appropriate” technologies • Integrate learning before, during, and after face-to-face activities • Changing technology will be the easy part; convincing people to change the way they learn will be the hard part
A consortium is an association of two or more individuals… with the objective of participating in a common activity or pooling their resources for achieving a common goal. Consortium is a Latin word, meaning 'partnership, association or society' and derives from consors 'partner', itself from con- 'together' and sors 'fate', meaning owner of means or comrade.

Accreditation Educational accreditation is a type of quality assurance process under which services and operations of educational institutions or programs are evaluated by an external body to determine if applicable standards are met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted by the agency.
Continuing Education Unitsas part of the Certification process A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a measure used in a licensed profession in order for the professional to maintain the license. Examples of people who need CEUs include educators, nurses, mental health professionals, and social workers. Generally, a CEU is defined as ten hours of participation in a recognized continuing education program, with qualified instruction and sponsorship. The term CEU is in the public domain. Any organization may award a traditional CEU without requiring any accreditation. With a traditional CEU an employer or other organization must decide on an individual basis whether to honor the CEU from a training provider.
