  2. You must be logged in to add content. So after logging in . . .

  3. On the right column you will see a maroon bar that says Participate. • Under that are two boxes for you to fill out: • Title • URL • To make this easier I always have the item I’m contributing open in another window – then I cut and paste. . .

  4. Confirm title and url. Add mirror site, and an image if possible. Click ‘Next’

  5. This page has you add a description about the item you are adding. Be comprehensive.

  6. Add information about the intended audience.

  7. Add keywords to facilitate a search. Add as many as you like, then click next.

  8. On this page you catalog the items. If you click on Education (in the middle of the list), you get more options.

  9. At the bottom is ePortfolio. Click on that and you get subcategories . . .

  10. Add as many categories as possible, and catalog them “deep” into the ePortfoilo taxonomy. Take your time. This helps people find them. Pick a language, and click next.

  11. Add information about the author. There is a shortcut to add yourself. Note these are not required fields, and you can go back and edit your contributions.

  12. The last slide allows you to describe details. Fill in what you can, then hit ‘submit’.

  13. You will get a confirmation showing the information you’ve entered. Review for accuracy. Note on the right there is an option to edit. You’ve done it!

  14. You can edit your own contributions at any time. Go to your profile, and click on Submitted Materials.

  15. There you go. • If you have any questions, just call or email me. • Kathleen Willbanks • 664 2021 • kathleen@cdl.edu
