The project delivers technical assistance and training tailored to local conditions, and promotes collaboration between animal and human health professionals.

TYPES OF PROGRAMS • Single event trainings focused on basic HPAI preparedness, bio-security and outbreak response- e.g. Mongolia, Bulgaria • Country specific programs comprising multiple events- e.g. Ukraine, Moldova, West Africa, Latin America • Integrated multi-factor programs with resident staff - Azerbaijan and Central Asia

IMPROVING BIOSECURITY IN ARMENIA– DAI/ASME • Cascade training on HPAI and bio- security for over 2000 participants • Survey of small and medium commercial poultry producers (29 farms) • Confidential bio-security audits and recommendations for improvement (5 large producers and 8 SMEs) • Seminar on bio-security and animal welfare for sector 2&3 producers • Seminar on bio-security for food safety inspectors of poultry markets
